Amazon’s internal sales training platform, Amazon Connects (Connect or Connects?), was a dense website cluttered with too much information for employees. Amazon wanted a redesign that would make the training platform feel more like a game and encourage employees to take quizzes, which would lead to unlocked levels and then earned rewards for users. Keeping simplicity in mind, I created two design options that don’t show users the next round of quizzes on the platform until they’ve mastered the pervious set of questions. By hiding unnecessary information and creating a simplistic, seamless interface, users can now focus on the task at hand, win prizes, and most importantly learn through the sales training platform.
